For Monday's Lessons, watch the 'S' Episode!
Tuesday
During a quiet time with your child, say the list of words below slightly exaggerating the /sss/ sound. Remember, this is a time just for them to listen!
Say to your child, “Listen for the ‘sss’ sound at the end of these words”

Dance Gas Grass
Ace Dress Case
Goose Juice Dice
Peace Vase Face
Wednesday
When unloading groceries, have your child name and sort items into categories.
Some examples might be: fruits, vegetables, meat; things that go in the bathroom; things you clean with, etc.
Thursday
Have your child say the names of the pictures. The ‘s’ sound is in the middle of the word.
Friday
Pick a favorite short book. Go over the cover of the book - the title, author, and the illustrator - what clues in the picture tell you about the story?
As you read the story, identify the characters, the setting, the problem, and the solution
Talk about the pictures, what they think will happen next, feelings, etc.
